It was in deepest darkest Somerset, south-west England, sometime in the early 90’s when Nick first encountered dance music. Ten foot high speaker stacks, muddy fields and purple ohms. Groove, bass and positivity. A good time being had by all. Nick had to learn how to mix. Fast forward over twenty years and these positive things remain the cornerstones of Nick’s DJ sets.

Since the heady days of Somerset, Nick has worked among many aspects of dance music, from independent record shops to legendary nightclubs Fabric and The End. A stint at a vinyl distribution company while running his own record label opened Nick’s eyes not only to the business end of the music spectrum, but new genres, techniques and people. From experimental grooves to tight techy house, via stomping techno and future disco, Nick’s scope is far and wide. He’s had guest slots on radio stations including Ministry Of Sound Radio, Hoxton FM, Brap FM and more & he currently has his own monthly show on Aaja Music.

He’s been on the same bill as many big name DJs including Scratch Perverts, Saytek, Daddy G, Cut La Roc, Terry Francis, Doorly, Evil Nine, Jem Haynes, Frazer Campbell, Meat Katie, Normski and Shy Fx as well as having residencies at London nights Versus, Tune Up and Bass[sic].

Nick currently holds a residency at Bank Of Switches and is a regular guest at parties such as Minimal Force, ETTG and Route One, so he can be found playing tunes all over London at venues like Shelter, Cafe 1001, Werkhaus, Last Days Of Shoreditch, Near & Far Bar, Aaja Deptford & The Souls.
